Owners Raphael Paterniti and Marta Gobbo relocated to Cape Town after the stress of Trieste, Italy started weighing them down. Enter: Openwine. We were lucky enough to stop by during their soft opening and loved chatting with Raphael about his concept for his unique enoteca, a first in Cape Town.

Pro-Tip: Check out their 'Foodage' policy! Openwine's take on 'corckage' allows patrons to bring a new bottle of good quailty wine (that Openwine doesn't already house) as long as they are willing to share the experience with the owners. Additionally, customers are also open to bring their own quality food (as long as its not fast food!). (Openwine's 'Foodage' policy has a small fee)
